The beautiful, enchanting tropical paradise that is Hawaii, has inspired writers from Mark Twain to James Michener. Volumes have been written on the majestic volcanoes, golden beaches, captivating sunsets, and lush rain forests. Hawaii continues to enthrall millions of tourists each year with its numerous rainbows, magnificent waterfalls, astonishing lava flows, endless summer days and warm starry nights. General ID Requirements

U.S. citizens are not required to bring a passport or visa for entry to Hawaii. However, a valid picture identification (driver license, official I.D., passport, etc.) is necessary at the airport for verifying your identification with the name indicated on your airline tickets. If you plan to drive a vehicle you will need a drivers license.

Climate
Overall, Hawaii has great weather, It's balmy and warm, with northeasterly trade winds prevailing most of the year. Average temperatures differ about 7 degrees from winter to summer. Near the coast daily temperatures average a high of about 83 degrees and a low of around 68 degrees.
